Silvana is an Ecuadorian scientist, therefore she is very passionate about making astronomy education accessible in third-world countries. In the future she hopes to facilitate education and research in astronomy in places where the field isn’t available, such as Ecuador. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, rock climbing, playing the ukulele, traveling to new places and learning about people.
